If your Xiaomi scooter is beeping, flashing, or showing an error number on the screen, don’t panic.
Most error codes are triggered by common components like the throttle, brake lever, controller, or internal wiring — and many can be fixed quickly with the right part.
This guide applies to:
Before diagnosing the issue, you first need to identify which dashboard type your scooter has.
Identify Your Dashboard Type
LED Dashboard (No Screen – M365 Style)
- Uses flashing red LED
- Makes repeating beep patterns
- Does NOT show numbers
The number of beeps corresponds to the error number.
Digital Display Dashboard (1S / Pro 2 Style)
- Shows numeric error codes directly on the screen (10, 14, 15, etc.)
- Easier to identify exact fault
The internal meaning of the codes is largely the same — only the display method differs.
Error 10 – Communication Error
Error 11 – Phase Current Abnormal
Error 12 – Controller Temperature Sensor Fault
Error 13 – Battery Temperature Abnormal
Error 14 – Throttle Malfunction
Error 15 – Brake Lever Sensor Fault
Error 16 – MOSFET Overheating
Error 17 – Motor Phase Abnormal
Error 18 – Motor Hall Sensor Fault
Error 19 / 21 – Battery Communication Error
Error 22 – Battery Serial Communication Abnormal
Error 23 – Battery Default / Abnormal
Error 24 – Motor Short Circuit
Error 26 – Controller MOSFET Fault
Error 27 – Firmware Abnormal
Error 28 – Motor Temperature Abnormal

1 Long + 4 Short Beeps
1 Long + 5 Short Beeps
1 Long + 6 Short Beeps
1 Long + 7 Short Beeps
1 Long + 8 Short Beeps
1 Long + 9 Short Beeps

2 Long + 8 Short Beeps
LED Dashboard: How to Count the Beeps
If you have an LED-only dashboard (common on the M365):
- The scooter will repeat a beep pattern.
- Count the short beeps after the longer pause.
- Example:
1 long + 4 short = Error 14
1 long + 5 short = Error 15
The beep count matches the error number.
What If Your Scooter Shows No Error Code?
If your scooter:
- Won’t turn on
- Cuts power randomly
- Has no display
- Shows flickering dashboard
The most common causes are:
- Loose stem wiring
- Faulty controller
- Water damage
- Dashboard failure
These faults often do NOT show a code.
